Selected  Bibliography

The following selected bibliography includes scholarship published primarily from the twentieth century to the present by peer-reviewed journals and presses. We do not include works that only briefly treat Anne Finch and her corpus, reference entries and essays, and anthologies. This bibliography's purpose is to assist students and researchers in their search for greater critical expertise about Finch's life and works. Additional expanded content, including information about early reception history, is available in the companion print edition to this site: the two-volume Cambridge Edition of the Works of Anne Finch, Countess of Winchilsea.
