The digitization unit is responsible for digitizing analog materials in a variety of formats (photographs, documents, books, audio files, manuscript materials) and making them available online to the public. In addition to digitization, we also coordinate metadata and discovery for digitized items. We currently work primarily with materials provided by the University Libraries and by our community partners, but we also consult and collaborate on faculty research projects and on curricular integration of digitization and digitized materials. We can also help with copyright issues, grant proposals, and other logistical issues. Even if we can't do what you need, there's a very good chance we can help you find someone who can.
