Introduction

Thank you for listening to the following presentation, “Treating Bipolar Disorder”.  This was prepared by Dr. Jamison Lord, PMHNP-BC, DNP, clinician with Cone Behavioral Health Hospital.

Learners need to understand how to identify and treat bipolar disorder.

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the North Carolina Nurse Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The continuing education module is provided by the University of North Carolina at Greensboro School of Nursing.

To obtain the continuing education credit and certificate for this activity, you will need to

• complete the pretest
• watch the entire video
• answer the evaluation questions
• complete the posttest with a score of 100%

At the end of this activity, 1 contact hour including 0.58 pharmacotherapeutic hours will be awarded.  Estimated time to complete the activity is one hour.  This module will be available until XXX, 2021.  This series was developed to increase the evidence-based knowledge and skills of advanced practice nurses and registered nurses.
