NURSING CONTINUING EDUCATION

Welcome to the Nursing Continuing Education Portal

On this portal you will find free continuing education modules on the following topics. The site is currently under construction, as we are updating the CE modules.

  • Mental Health
  • Older Adult Health
  • Preceptor Development
  • Chronic Health Conditions
  • Pain Management

All the CE modules have been approved by North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. In order to earn CE credit, you will be REQUIRED to create an account by clicking on the “Log In” box located on the top right-hand corner of the screen. This will allow you to save your progress through each module. In the event you are not able to complete all sections of the module at one time, you can log off and log in later to finish the module and obtain your CE certificate.

It will only take a moment to set up your user account. You will use your email address as your username and create a password. Once you have done this, a verification link will be sent to your email to log in the first time. Go to My Account button in the top right side of the screen and click on Account Information and enter your first and last name. You will obtain your CE certificates from the “Module Progress” section. You are responsible for submitting your CEs to your state board and/or certifying bodies.

You may continue as a “guest” if you are interested only in learning and do not want a CE certificate. Be aware that continuing as a guest will not allow you to save your progress through any of the modules or generate a CE certificate.

If you have any difficulties using the site or questions send an email to: NurCE@uncg.edu.
