This is a visual key to native, or naturalized, oak species of the Southeastern United States.
This region includes Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Virginia. 
 
This key is designed to help identify oak trees using pictures of living oak leaves.
It can be used to identify living trees or dried specimens.
